RHIMS 10 Review: Pay-Per-Call Affiliate Marketing With Expired Domains (From Inside the Course)
A plumber pays $30 for one phone call. A roofer $50. A lawyer $100 and more. The affiliate who sent the call never speaks to anyone. That is pay-per-call, and RHIMS 10: Get Paid Per Call is JayKay Dowdall’s new course about getting those calls with free traffic. I bought it on launch day, went through all 16 lessons, read the transcripts and opened every bonus. This review covers what the method is, what you pay beyond the course, where beginners will stall, and what I built to fix that.
Short version: the most specific RHIMS course so far. Every step is shown over the shoulder and written down under the video. A funnel costs about $20 to test. The research is the real work, and the vendor sells a weekly list for exactly that reason. My rating: 4.1 / 5. The bonus page with the claim steps is here.
What Is Pay-Per-Call Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing where the affiliate link is a phone number. A business (or a call center that buys for it) pays a network for every qualified call: the caller wants the service, the call lasts long enough (usually 60 to 180 seconds), the caller is in the service area, and the call arrives inside the buyer’s hours. The network tracks the number, routes the call and pays the affiliate weekly. The caller and the business never know you exist.
The payouts JayKay shows from his network dashboard in lesson 1.2: water heater repair $30, chiropractor $45, HVAC $45, siding $54, cruise bookings $126, solar $144, mobility scooters $162, nursing home abuse (legal) $400 per call. Those are advertised ceilings on specific offers, and the course says so.
The RHIMS 10 Method in One Paragraph
Find the just-expired .com of a closed local service business, a plumber, a roofer, an insurance agent. Register it for about $10. Rebuild its homepage with AI as a clearly disclosed referral site and host it free on GitHub Pages. Put a local tracking number on it. Old flyers, directory listings, business cards and saved contacts keep sending people to that website, and some of them call. Validate those callers with a press-1 menu, then sell the calls to a pay-per-call network. Maintain each funnel for about 15 minutes a month and build more in the same niche.
JayKay calls it “affiliate marketing without a checkout button” and the question behind it is the backwards one: where is traffic already flowing to a dead number?
Inside the Members Area: 6 Modules, 16 Lessons

| Module | What it covers | What I noted |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Getting Started (3 videos) | Roadmap, what a qualified call is, why JayKay is moving his business into pay-per-call | Lesson 1.3 is the honest “why”: organic traffic for info products is drying up, pay-per-call payouts rose from $10-15 to $20-35 per plumbing call in ten years |
| 2. How Pay-Per-Call Works (2) | The A-to-Z story (Mike’s car dies in Austin, he finds an old flyer, checks the site, presses 1), niching down | The “trigger event” idea is the whole method. Stay in one niche so networks can route you |
| 3. Getting Paid for Calls (3) | Networks (eLocal, MarketCall, RingPartner), reading an offer card, the 15-20% pay bump, direct and end buyers, the Neighborhood Clone cold email | MarketCall shown live. Networks mark your calls up 40% and more, so the bump is there for the asking after about ten paid calls |
| 4. Getting Free Traffic (4) | Why expired domains ring, ExpiredDomains.net filters, the Wayback check, the AI rebuild with three prompts, GitHub Pages and DNS, multiplying funnels | The core of the course. Live example: miamidadehealthinsurance.com found in about 20 minutes |
| 5. The $10 Call Stack (2) | NumberBarn local number, AI greeting, press-1 to voicemail, replacing the dummy number | Five press-1 calls are your proof for the network application. In practice module 5 comes before module 3 |
| 6. Next Steps (1) | Launch, validate, apply, multiply, keep or kill | Any sign of life = keep (renewal under $25); kill only at zero calls |
The step most people will skip: validation
The course flips the usual order. Instead of joining a network first, you buy a local number on NumberBarn (about $10 plus $6.99 a month for the plan with a press-1 menu), upload a ten-second ElevenLabs greeting (“this domain is now operated by an independent referral service, press 1 to be connected”), and route press-1 to voicemail. When five real callers have pressed 1, you apply to a network with call stats and voicemails attached. JayKay was an affiliate manager once; his point is that most applications are rejected because they show nothing, and this shows something.
The compliance line
Every lesson repeats it: never imply you are the former business. The rebuilt page carries a disclosure, the greeting says it is an independent referral service, and the old logo and staff photos come off. Regulated niches (insurance, debt, Medicare) get extra warnings in the Niche Hit List.
The Bonuses Inside the Course
- Niche Hit List (11 pages): 35 niches scored for beginner-friendliness, free-traffic fit, evergreen demand and payout, with the winter 2026 angle. Gutters, plumbing and appliance repair lead.
- The Neighborhood Clone: lesson 3.3 plus the control email and template for direct buyers (“Can you help service these tub installation calls?”, next five calls free, prepaid balance billing).
- Free Traffic Treasure Map: four more ways to find callers, including buying the old business’s original phone number when it turns up for sale on NumberBarn.
- Case Files: JayKay’s real Marion County walk-in tub funnel with the real numbers (below), plus one illustrative HVAC case that is labeled as fictional.
- Prompt Vault (7 research prompts), “Where Are The Callers?” Troubleshooter (four diagnoses), 15-Minute Monthly Maintenance Plan, and the $10 Call Stack as a bonus pointer.
The Real Case File Numbers
| Item | Figure (vendor’s case, Marion County FL, walk-in tubs) |
|---|---|
| Domain | $9.99 at GoDaddy, found on ExpiredDomains.net |
| Phone | NumberBarn local number $10 + $6.99/month plan |
| 14-day validation | 4 calls, 2 pressed 1, 1 voicemail |
| May 18 to July 9 | 165 visitors, 9 calls, 3 paid at $55 = $165 gross |
| Costs | About $34, so about $131 net |
| First paid call | After five forwarded calls |
He calls it a modest result, and I like that the costs are in the table. Treat it as one funnel’s data, not a forecast.

Where Beginners Will Stall
- Research. Lesson 4.2 shows about 20 minutes of clicking for two candidates. The Niche Hit List helps with the niche; the domains you still find by hand, one Wayback tab at a time.
- The network interview. The course mentions an affiliate-manager cheat sheet; the advice exists, spread over three lessons, and there is no single document.
- Funnel number four. Three domains, two numbers, one network login: the maintenance plan ends in a blank table.
My Bonuses for RHIMS 10 Buyers

- Call Funnel Domain Scout (Chrome extension). Paste a list, or click the green button on ExpiredDomains.net, and the Scout reads the Wayback Machine for every domain: years of history, real business or parking page or squatter, service words, city, the old phone number, and a score with the reasons. One click saves the archived homepage for the AI rebuild prompt. Tab two is a pre-publish check for your finished page: dummy 555 numbers, tel: links, the disclosure, old-company phrasing, logo images, legal links, viewport tag.
- Network Approval Kit (PDF, 13 pages). The evidence pack you attach to every application, answers for the eight standard form fields, the onboarding-call cheat sheet with the ten questions they ask and the four you ask, the pay-bump email, and reply scripts for the two questions every direct buyer asks after a Neighborhood Clone email.
- Call Funnel Portfolio Tracker (Google Sheet / Excel). One row per funnel, one row per call. It counts validated and paid calls, tracks renewals and monthly cost, and tells you the next step per funnel from the course rules.
More bonuses follow this week in the same bonus area. Full details and the claim steps are on my bonus page.
Verdict: Who RHIMS 10 Is For
Worth it if you want an affiliate model that runs without content, ads or an audience, you can spend twenty minutes of research per funnel, and you can wait for the phone to ring. Skip it if you need results this week: calls follow trigger events, and the course itself says to give a funnel weeks and build the next one while you wait.

FAQ
Do I have to talk to callers?
No. Callers hear a recorded greeting and press 1 to reach the provider. Joining a network involves one short onboarding call with an affiliate manager.
Does this work outside the US?
Yes. The offers are mostly for US businesses, but the funnel runs from anywhere. JayKay runs his from Canada. Networks pay by PayPal, wire or Payoneer.
Is this legal and compliant?
The course builds the disclosure into the page and the greeting and tells you to remove the old branding. Regulated niches need extra care, and each network has its own traffic rules. Read the offer card before you route calls.
How is RHIMS 10 different from earlier RHIMS courses?
Earlier editions covered launch-jacking, order-jacking, trend-riding and ads. RHIMS 10 is the first about pay-per-call, a market JayKay has worked since 2017, and the most step-by-step of the series.
What is the Fresh List?
The first upgrade: a weekly publication of pre-researched pay-per-call opportunities (niche, payout, buyer, funnel angle, traffic ideas), $60 for 12 months with no auto-renewal, plus a personal attendant who sets up your first affiliate number.
Disclosure: links in this review are affiliate links. If you buy through them I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The case file numbers are the vendor’s reported figures from one funnel; your results depend on your niche, your research and your consistency.
